On the 2nd Jan I headed over to Rjukan in Norway for some ice climbing. Sadly the ice wasn’t as well formed as it should have been for this time of year, but we still got plenty of routes done.
It was good to get back into the swing of the winter stuff ready for a Scotland trip in February.
Back at work this weekend, in Cornwall for a few more weeks, I was teaching Lead Climbing at Roche Rock and one of the best crags in Britain – Bosigran. The students have done well, remembering most of what they were taught before Christmas! We did a mix of Single Pitch and Multi Pitch routes.
Lots of exciting work to look forward to this year from teaching on various different Instructor Courses to delivering D of E and lots of exciting climbing trips too – Scotland, Croatia, Dolomites and Alps are already booked in the diary 🙂
